LOLER Inspection training (Personal Protection Equipment Inspection)

Our LOLER inspection training course will provide sufficient information to allow the delegates to form a judgement on the condition of an item of fall protection/personal lifting equipment. Learners should subsequently be able to make a decision about whether to keep it in service. The LOLER inspection course will be classroom-based and will involve hands-on inspection of various items of fall arrest equipment.

The LOLER inspection training provides information on the Inspection of Personal Protection Equipment (LOLER 98). The course is relevant to the climbing industry workplace, with practical sessions on inspection of equipment encountered during your working environment.

Ideal candidates for the LOLER course:

The LOLER inspection training course is necessary for people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. This includes all businesses and organisations whose employees use lifting equipment, whether owned by them or not. In most cases, lifting equipment is also work equipment so the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) will also apply (including inspection and maintenance. All lifting operations involving lifting equipment must be properly planned by a competent person, appropriately supervised and carried out in a safe manner.
