Level 3 First Aid At Work Training
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work training course by Qualsafe Awards is specifically designed for individuals who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace. Successful candidates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work, as well as being equipped with the essential skills needed to give first aid at work in the case of an injury, accident, or other health problem.
Also, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this first aid at work course for their employees and rest assured they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid at work training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.

Course Content
Our first aid at work training course covers:
- The role and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR, Recovery Position, Heart Attack
- Stroke, Choking, Epilepsy
- Asthma, Diabetes, Anaphylaxis
- Shock, Head and spinal injuries, Chest injuries
- Wounds and bleeding, Fractures,
- Sprains, strains and dislocations. Minor injuries
- Burns and scalds, Poisoning, Eye injuries
Certification
The successful completion of the first aid at work course leads to a recognised First Aid Certificate (Valid for three years). This certificate identifies the holder as a designated First Aider, in accordance with the requirement of the Health & Safety at Work (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
