Asbestos Awareness

Asbestos awareness training is required to be given to employees whose work could foreseeably expose them to asbestos. In particular, it should be given to all demolition workers and those workers in the refurbishment, maintenance and allied trades where it is foreseeable that their work will disturb the fabric of the building because asbestos containing materials may become exposed during their work.
Licensed Work with Asbestos
UKATA
The Licensed Work with Asbestos training course is required for those holding an HSE Licence for carrying out work with or removing asbestos-containing materials that are relatively high risk.
Non-Licensed Work with Asbestos including NNLW
UKATA
This Non-Licensed Work With Asbestos training course sets out the guidance issued by the UK Asbestos Training Association (UKATA) for the provision of non-licensed asbestos training as contained within the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR).
